If you want to watch your favorite movies offline, you need to download them from the streaming platforms that offer this feature. In this article, we will show you how to download movies from Netflix, Google Play Movies & TV, and other popular services.
Netflix
Netflix is one of the most popular streaming platforms in the world, with a huge library of movies and shows. You can download titles from Netflix on your iOS, Android, Amazon Fire, Chromebook, or Windows 10 device using the Netflix app. Here are the steps to follow:
Make sure your Netflix app is up to date. You can check for updates in the App Store, Google Play Store, or Windows Store.
Choose your download quality. Netflix offers two quality levels for downloads: Standard and High. The latter is high definition and takes up more storage space. You can change your download quality in the app settings.
Find and download a movie. Tap on any movie and look for the Downloads icon to see whether it can be downloaded. Not all titles are available for download. You can also filter by what is available for download in the Downloads section of the app.
Watch downloaded movies. To watch your downloaded movies, go to the Downloads section of the app and select Play. You can have up to 100 active downloads at a time per device on as many devices included in your membership plan.
